At Royal Randwick, we believe that small acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference in our local community.

This October, we’re proud to support Coogee Lions Club with a community food drive, collecting non-perishable food and essential items for people experiencing hardship in our local area.

Where does your donation go?

All items collected through the food drive will be donated through Coogee Lions Club, a group of local volunteers who have been supporting the community since 2005.

Coogee Lions Club partners with DIVA Charity to help provide food and essential items to people in need. Donations from community food drives like this one support DIVA Charity’s work, including its 24-hour community pantry, helping make essential items available to those experiencing hardship.

It means the can of food, packet of pasta or essential item you drop into our collection point isn't just a donation. It is a practical way to help support someone within our wider community.

About Coogee Lions Club

Coogee Lions Club is made up of local volunteers committed to making a positive difference for people in our community.

Since forming in 2005, the Club has distributed more than $1 million back into the community, supporting local charities, community projects and people in need.

Their local initiatives have included providing accessible beach mats at Malabar Beach, supporting young carers through Caring Kids, purchasing a community bus for Junction Community Centre, sponsoring Lions Assistance Dogs for local residents, and supporting emergency and disaster relief fundraising.

Community food drives are another way Coogee Lions Club brings local people together to support those who need a helping hand.

How you can help

Getting involved is simple.

Bring a non-perishable food or essential item to Royal Randwick and place it in the dedicated donation collection point.

Once you've made your donation, scan the QR code at our donation point and enter for your chance to WIN a $500 Gift Card.

Time: 10am – 4pm
Where: Ground Floor, near Woolworths

Previous collections at Royal Randwick Shopping Centre have received incredible support from customers, demonstrating the generosity of the local community.
