Parents room

We have two parents rooms, one is located on ground floor (near The Shed) and the other on level 1 (near the medical centre). Both have baby changing facilities, a microwave and a baby feeding area.

Free play area on level 1 near Best & Less, for kids under 5. Parental supervision required at all times.

Toy and game library

Margaret Martin Library have a toy and game library open to members. The library provides a sustainable, economical and community-driven service to ensure your child always has access to a range of high-quality toys.

 

For the price of one toy per year, toy library members gain access to over 2,500 educational and fun toys for children aged 6 months to 12 years, with collections in all 3 library locations. All toys and games within the collection have been carefully selected for their educational value and meet safety and quality standards.

Kidstuff

Since 1969 Kidstuff has educated the children of Sydney with an amazing range of toys, books, sporting equipment, arts and crafts. Our motto "for a Brighter Child" forms the basis of the strict criteria applied to out product selection process. In other words, if the toy, game, or puzzle does not encourage the development of a child's mind, imagination and physical wellbeing, we will not stock it. Simple Stuff.

Randwick Early Childhood Centre

Child and Family Health service provides opportunities for new families to network with each other and other services within the community. Child and Family Health Nurses offer child health and development checks at the following recommended ages: 1-4 weeks, 6-8 weeks, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years and 4 years. The checks are important as babies grow rapidly and minor difficulties can become serious health or developmental problems if left. Child and Family Health Nurses offer parent information on many topics including: child health and development, practical parenting tips, nutrition, breastfeeding, sleep and settling, communication, play and safety, nutrition, oral health, post natal depression, fathering, balancing work and family life, play, injury prevention, SIDS and immunization.

Sydney Adult and Children's ENT Centre

Sydney Adult and Children's Ear Nose and Throat Surgery Centre is a purpose built clinic within the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. We are in close proximity to Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Children's Hospital.

Community resources

The social media ban will come as a relief to many parents or carers who have been concerned about its impacts on their children and young people. However, many young people will feel upset, worried or angry about these changes, which are set to come into effect on December 10, 2025.
